Prices for authors
The Article Processing Charge (APC) is 600 EUR per article for manuscripts of up to 15 printed pages. For longer manuscripts (16 or more printed pages), the APC is 700 EUR per article, reflecting the significantly greater amount of editorial work and time required for processing extended submissions. We aim to keep these costs to a minimum. Essentially, the APC is intended to cover only the basic expenses of the publisher, the Institute of Parasitology of the Czech Academy of Sciences (IPCAS), which is a non-commercial research institution. The publishing costs of the journal have always been subsidised by IPCAS due to its consistent annual financial deficit.
These rates apply to all articles submitted on or after 1 January 2025.
